Livejournal refugee and collector of semi-useless labels, including: nonpracticing social scientist, classically trained quasi-musician, occasional illustrator, sporadic fiber (and other) artist, amateur botanist, certificated designer, native Floridian (O that rare beast), drinker of tea, ferry godmother, ex-magazine-editor, aggravating weirdo, possibly still a patron saint. Sometimes I also manage to write (fantasy, poetry, personal essays, nonfiction).

To anyone whose journal I have unexpectedly subscribed to: No pressure to subscribe in return. My subscriptions are based on things like whimsy, empathy, amusement, and nebulous feelings of identification or internetty human connection, and I get that these things aren't always reciprocal.
